FAA is a non-profit educational organization that offers programs with a rich ethnic flavor: literature, music, travel, food, the immigrant culture, contemporary Finland, and other topics. It is dedicated to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Americans of Finnish ancestry.
In light of recent events in Minnesota, we must continue to come together for activities and events supporting our Finnish community. We appreciate that FAA is a diverse group of individuals and families with individual and varied points of view and opinions. As part of FAA’s mission, we seek to celebrate and value our Finnish culture, heritage, and life in Minnesota, which no doubt is rich due to our immigrant history. Finnish and Finnish American heritage and interest is what unites us. We will always strive to view everyone in society as equals and work toward justice and peace.
